WYK offers more than one path into our vibrant school life – it offers an entire range of scholarships and awards that recognise excellence in many forms. Students can be recognised for academic merit, for whole-person strengths across areas like music, sports, leadership, and most importantly, the steady courage to keep improving.

And when life gets complicated, Emergency Financial Relief is there: practical, quietly resolute and need-based, with support of up to HKD10,000 per pax per year. Aid tied to students’ journeys beyond Hong Kong – Support for Overseas Exchange Programmes is also readily available, opening new possibilities for students from all walks of life. This reflects that school’s belief that aspirations should not be rationed by circumstances, and that new doors should remain open to whoever is ready to step through.

New scholarships established in recent years (since 2023), with special attention to the areas mentioned above, include (in alphabetical order):
