Seasonal Splendour: Rhododendron Dedicated by Class of 1993
28 February 2024

In a tranquil corner behind the School Chapel, there is a Rhododendron group planting that brings to life the school vision of campus enhancement, as well as realising our enduring endeavours in Jesuit education.
This class gift, dedicated to WYK by Class of 1993 in response to our fundraising call, has done more than landscape improvement: it has made a promise. Chosen for its suitability and sustainability, the species was carefully curated to harmonize with the school’s environmental conditions, cultural contexts, and aesthetic sensibilities. All proceeds go to realising WYK’s vision of nurturing Men of Human Excellence and Men for and with Others. Since it was planted in 2024, the flowers have returned, season after season, blooming with vivid confidence.
A commemorative plaque, installed to recognise the generosity of our donors, turns beauty into legacy – and legacy into an invitation to give.
